Forests and Climate Change

This 19-credit certificate is designed to train working professionals – mid-career, company, industry and agency employees – who want more experience in natural resources management and climate change.

Natural Resources

Study the interactions of ecological, economic, ethical, production, and social systems. Explore multiple fields and choose an area of emphasis based on your professional experience and interests. Grow through a 45-credit program and earn a master's degree in natural resources.

Sustainable Natural Resources

This 18-credit online certificate is designed for all students, especially company, industry or agency employees who desire training in solving complex sustainability problems.

Urban Forestry

Completion of this 18-credit online certificate helps students learn to effectively apply the principles of urban forestry, green infrastructure, planning, policy, management, and leadership to the management of urban forests and urban forestry programs.

Peace Corps Masters International Program in Forestry

OSU offers a Peace Corps Master’s International (PCMI) Program in Forestry and Applied Economics, with Fall 2014 expansion into Horticulture, Soils, Crop Science,  Mechanical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Ecological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, and Water Resources.

A student accepted into the OSU Graduate School and as a graduate student into one of the above-mentioned academic programs can choose to be a "PCMI Candidate."  As a PCMI candidate your graduate degree program will be coordinated with your 27 months of Peace Corps service.
